Menopause is a totally natural part of life—it marks the end of your reproductive years, when your ovaries stop producing eggs and hormone levels (like estrogen and progesterone) take a dive. Officially, menopause is diagnosed after 12 months without a period.

But let’s be honest—the rollercoaster starts well before that. Mood swings, hot flushes, brain fog, fatigue, sleepless nights… welcome to Perimenopause—the transition that can begin as early as your late 30s, when estrogen levels start to shift.

The average age of menopause is around 51, but every woman’s journey is different. And while this stage is completely normal, that doesn’t mean it’s easy. It can be overwhelming, exhausting, and downright stressful.

But here’s the good news: with the right knowledge, a few smart lifestyle tweaks, and the right support (that’s where I come in!), you don’t have to just survive this season—you can actually thrive through it.

How I can support you

Over my career, I’ve followed a fascinating path of learning, unlearning, and relearning how to best support women’s health—and honestly, no stage has opened my eyes more than perimenopause and menopause.

For too long, women in midlife have been left out of the conversation when it comes to real, practical, and science-backed solutions for their health. That’s why I was so drawn to the work of Dr Wendy Sweet (PhD)—a pioneering researcher in women's healthy ageing, and founder of My Menopause
Transformation (MyMT™). Her work and research struck a chord with me, and I’ve now completed her Menopause Weight Loss Coach and Practitioner Courses where I proudly trained under her guidance.

The questions Wendy posed throughout the course challenged everything I thought I knew:
